| The Greater Baltimore Committee is a regional, membership organization of more than 450 businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Members are located in Baltimore City and Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, and Howard Counties. The GBC has identified support for the bioscience industry in a region as one of its top three priorities.
The GBC seeks out opportunities for economic growth, helps solve regional problems, and speaks for the business community with legislators and government officials. The GBC works to create a positive environment for people to work and live. Many projects, such as the development of the Inner Harbor, the Hippodrome Theater, and Camden Yards would not have happened without the GBC.
